sojourn: a temporary stay; stop; stop over; vacation
November 12, 2011
See part 1 here.
I was walking around the patron area when the show began to start. I found myself in the right most side of the stage.

I realized that this area was actually where the high school teams would be seated. This was perfect as I needed to take pictures of Nica Fab of Sayawatha. I came to support her. I wouldn’t have gotten a ticket if she wasn’t gonna be dancing. Yup that’s her (below, right most), crazy as usual.

I took some more pictures of Sayawatha and the other dance crews.

I decided to go directly in front of the stage in order to get better pictures. Luckily, no one stopped me. I had such a good view and I was right smack in the middle!

When this guy (above) took his shirt of I noticed all the girls started whipping out their cameras (below). As you can see they were all at the edge of their seats.

Then came Sayawatha. My first solo shot of Nica (below), and already so intense!

I actually have a whole album just full of her shots. But I’ll only be sharing my favorite ones.

This is my most favorite shot of the whole set.

At the end of her dance, I went back to my seat in the very back of the patron area. I wanted to enjoy the rest of the show. There were so many great dancers and UP Diliman was no exception. I couldn’t help but stand and cheer for them.
The show was great, even if it lasted for almost 6 hours. By the time I got home I was dead tired but I still start editing the photos I took. Hopefully in the near future, I’ll be part of the team of photographers documenting the event. Nothing wrong with wishing.
