sojourn: a temporary stay; stop; stop over; vacation

We couldn’t get enough of the animals, so after visiting the Animal Farm we went fishing!
Dad, Annika and Josh get their fishing rods ready by placing some bait on the hooks.
Philip eagerly watches as dad throws the hook into the water.
While the ladies (me, mom, Tita Jhoey) waited, we ordered some hotdog sandwiches.
Josh patiently waited and waited to catch a fish.
Yet again, I took some photos of the place while waiting for them to finish.

We ended up not catching anything. One of the other groups fishing felt bad for us (especially Annika) so they gave us three of their fish. Everyone was happy at the end of the day.
We had dinner after in the club house and went disco bowling. My photos aren’t so nice and I don’t think they’re worth sharing with you guys. So I guess my sojourn ends here… for now :)
