sojourn: a temporary stay; stop; stop over; vacation
Tagaytay, October 31, 2011
After horse-back riding, we had lunch in Marcia Adams’ Tuscany. This was my second time to eat here and I ordered the exact same thing. I think I took better pictures this time cause I didn’t forget to photograph my food before eating it!
First some bread dipped in balsamic vinegar and olive oil.

Then I had my favorite appetizer, fried prawns on a thin cracker. Again, I forgot the name of the dish.

For my main dish, Aromatic Pork with couscous.

I matched it with my favorite Apple ale. (Although I took a picture below shows Lemon haha)

I was so full at this point, but then dessert came and I could not resist. Banana split! It was supposed to be with Nutella but they must have run out and instead put some sort of cinnamon syrup.

While waiting for the food, I decided to explore the place. First, the lovely house that was inspired by restaurants in Tuscany (hence the name)

Mom even bought some jam (which I had for breakfast just this morning)

Then I went around the beautiful garden.

We took our annual family Christmas photo here, but I’m not allowed to post it up yet. I’ll probably put it up sometime next month.
I can’t wait to bring my friends here. I’m planning to spend my 20th birthday here next year. We’ll see.
